Liquidizer Demos I have Leigh 'Scratch' Fenlon to thank for these early demos. If you get out your copies of the early releases you'll realise the important part Scratch played in the early days of Jesus Jones. The back of Info Freako can be seen to the right naming Scratch. These demos are purely for listening to as a record of the beginning of Jesus Jones. The copyright rests with Scratch and it is with his and the Band's kind permission that you can hear them today. Please don't abuse that permission by using the tracks for commercial gain. The tracks are here in the spirit of letting you hear what the first sounds of Jesus Jones were like. Please remember that you are not paying to listen to these unique recordings but it does cost money to make music. Jesus Jones Megamix! - 2.59 Scratch's comments; "I can't quite remember why it was recorded but I think it was pitched as a megamix which was the in thing at the time to put on at the end of an album such as the house compilations that were aplenty back then (stuff like the street sounds albums)." 18. Info Freako 4-Track Version - 5.24 This track is a demo recorded on 4 track by Mike as a rough sketch for Info. Already Demos These are 30 second snippets that were available on the original JesusJones.com site around 1996. Remember the internet was a much different thing in those days so at the time these were massive files! They are AIFF files apart from They're Out There which is an AU file. (From the oriignal site - These files are excerpts from the new songs for Jesus Jones's fourth album, provisionally titled "Already" and due for release in April '97. Whilst Food / EMI are happy with these, it's probable that a small amount of re-working will be done on them before the album is cut.) Lookout Tomorrow (444kb) |

These tracks are relatively hard to find so I've put them here for your listening pleasure. They might take a while to download depending on your connection. It is better to direct them towards your media player rather than use the one that opens through IE6/7. They are just for listening to so please don't abuse this page or start producing your own CDs! Any requests for rare tracks, including any vinyl offerings, that I haven't got listed, for future listening, please email me using the address at the bottom of the page.
